The ideal conditions at the Tehachapi Wine and Cattle Company have produced in its grapes the unique flavor of spices, fruitiness, licorice and a hint of pepper. Our Primitivo Zinfandel is a rich, full-bodied wine of exceptional character and may be enjoyed with beef, veal, pork and pasta.
The rolling hills of the Cummings Valley, Tehachapi, is known as “The Land of Four Seasons,” where cattle & horse ranches abound. It is here where in 1888 as a condition of marriage, Elijah Stowell built a house for his future wife, Chloe. The home was later to be known as “The House That Love Built.” Fast forward to the 21st century, on the same property where the house still stands, is where wine is now produced keeping with tradition by putting love into every bottle.
