The Sand Trap was founded by BJ Corey and Nathan Abromovich who have been best friends since attending Wells Elementary many years ago. We both graduated from Tehachapi High School in 2004 and have had the privilege to call Tehachapi home since. Our wives, Marie Corey and Allison Abromovich have also been best friends for many years and their roots in Tehachapi run deep as well. The idea of The Sand Trap came after another journey off the hill to just hit some golf balls, have a beer together, and catch up on our busy lives. We discussed how it would be awesome if Tehachapi had something available that would check all these boxes. And just like that The Sand Trap was born! Our goal is to provide a service to our community that is unique yet fun. So whether you’re a serious golfer looking to improve your game, or just a group of friends looking for something to do together, let us earn your business!
Here at The Sand Trap we offer state of the art Trugolf simulators that utilize their E6 software. You can play all 18 holes of 100 world renowned courses or hit one of the several driving, chipping, or putting ranges. You can also challenge yourself or friends to games like closest to the pin, longest drive, darts, or blackout!
