Paid Political Advertisement CANDIDATE PETE GRAFF RESPONDS WITH THE TRUTH TO THE OPPOSITION'S FABRICATIONS & FALSEHOODS I've Lived in Tehachapi since 1979. I remember as a child looking at the Mayor and Council Members and thinking to myself, they are in charge of Tehachapi. They are the ones that help plan and guide the progress of this city I loved going to school here and being a true Tehachapi Warrior. All my children were born and raised here. I managed a great business with 120 employees in four different cities, including Tehachapi. But, one of the most important things I've done I was a Police Officer for the City of Tehachapi. This is why I chose to use a photo of myself when I was working. I did that so that if you didn't remember my name, you might remember me from my work My opposition has posted allegations of a couple of crimes that I was involved in in my youth Plain and simple this is not accurate truth I did get cited and released when I was eighteen years old for possessing a stolen guitar, which I returned. There was another incident with my ex-wife and charges were fully dismissed And let's clear up some other issues. As the last newspaper slam stated, I was fired for "cause" from the Police Department. This is simply not true. There's literally no evidence with me violating ANY department policies. That's not who I anm It's been asked, why am I not an officer now? June of last year I was hit on my motorcycle and injured my back. A few weeks ago, I was released to work and I'm going through the application phase now with two departments I am opposed by a very nasty hateful heavily-funded group (Tehachapi Citizens for Responsible Government). They're attacking me because they fear my honesty. They fear the responsible & reasonable approach I will bring to Council. I am absolutely in favor of progress within our city I want our City to be Great. I have yet to say anything negative about city staff, administrators or Council members I was not voted off Tehachapi Little League just another ridiculous false allegation. I have not sued the city for wrongful termination another false allegation. I did file a writ claim against City Hall behalf of 565 register voters, and no, it did not cost the city S60,000- another false allegation I am a Christian man and I know the Lord has put me in this battie for a reason This is why the opposition attacks.
