Bakersfield Family Medical Center/Heritage Physician Network sets a standard for excellence in health care provided to our patients in settings that promote wellness and preventive medicine. Throughout the 35-year history of our medical organization, we have invested our resources in the development of programs and services responsive to the health care needs of our members, while adapting to the increasingly diverse needs of tomorrow’s health care agenda.
Bakersfield Family Medical Center has employed primary care providers and some specialists with offices located throughout Kern County. Heritage Physician Network is a physician group with locations throughout Kern County who comprise an Independent Physicians Association (IPA). These IPA physicians are affiliated with BFMC, although they maintain their own offices. Members who select Bakersfield Family Medical Center/Heritage Physician Network physicians will see their doctors in their conveniently located private offices. All members of BFMC/HPN can access the full range of services, programs, and specialists offered by Bakersfield Family Medical Center.
