Ready To Serve! My name is Carlo Acevedo and I am running for the TUSD Board for Area 7. I am a Veteran with multiple training deployments around the globe including Operation Iraqi Freedom. I am also a retired Correctional Officer. I have 23 years with State and Federal Government which will serve me well in this endeavor. I have two children that attend our local schools, both on the spectrum. I am running for the school board to be a VOICE for parents and their children. I will be that person that holds the school district accountable for their actions. I will be a VOICE for the Special Education Students and recognize that it's time for those children to have an opportunity to shine.
